
Stephen Terhorst
Senior Systems Analyst
Stephen is a Senior Systems Analyst at the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI). In this role, he is responsible for managing and optimizing various databases and conducting data analysis to support the Institute’s mission. His work ensures the smooth operation of critical systems that help drive data-driven decision-making and program success.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and an Associate of Science in Technical Studies from California University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his academic career, he developed expertise in areas such as web development, database management, and computer networking.
Before joining YFTI, Stephen gained hands-on experience as an Application Developer during an internship at the Washington Greene County Job Training Agency (WGJTA). There, he designed and implemented a registration system for the PA CareerLink Centers, which tracks foot traffic and generates AD-HOC reports on a range of metrics, including visitor demographics and the reasons for their visits. This system helped streamline operations and improved data accessibility for site administrators.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys staying active with activities like kayaking and basketball, as well as spending quality time with his family and friends.
