Laura Rogers

Research Coordinator

Laura is a Research Coordinator for the Evaluation Team at the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI). She is responsible for verifying and entering evaluation data for the High-Fidelity Wraparound agencies across Pennsylvania as well as several different SAMHSA grants.  

Laura graduated from La Roche University in 2013 with an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, and a B.A in Medical Imaging with a minor in Business Management. Laura worked as a registered radiologic technologist for 5 years across multiple modalities ranging from diagnostic imaging, pain management imaging, interventional radiography, and computed tomography. During this time, she was awarded the JRCERT certificate of excellence for outstanding performance as a clinical educator in the radiologic sciences. In 2018 she transitioned into research, working at Meta Reality Lab conducting research studies based on human emotion, social interaction, facial expressions, and body movement.   

Outside of work Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, daughter Graycen, and extended family. She has a dog and two cats, enjoys reading mystery/thriller novels, and cooking/trying new recipes.
