
Jaime Porter
Training and Implementation Coordinator
Jaime Porter is a Training and Implementation Coordinator at the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI).
Jaime began her career in the Washington, DC area, designing and selling invitations at Creative Parties, Inc., a renowned event planning company. After five successful years, she relocated to Pittsburgh where she discovered her passion for helping youth with mental and behavioral health challenges. She initially worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) before joining a non-profit agency, where her career flourished.
With over 20 years of experience, Jaime has made significant contributions to the mental and behavioral health field, particularly in supporting youth and families. Throughout her career, Jaime has worked in various capacities, including foster care and adoption, truancy prevention in the Washington County School Districts, and mental/behavioral health services. She spent a decade in the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) program in Allegheny County, also known as the Joint Planning Team (JPT), serving as a credentialed Facilitator, Team Leader, and later as a Facilitator and Youth Support Partner (YSP) Supervisor/Coach. Jaime has maintained strong relationships with system partners throughout Allegheny and Washington Counties and strongly believes in empowering individuals and continuous improvement.
Jaime holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University and a Master of Science degree in Leadership Studies with a specialization in Project Management from Geneva College.
Outside of her professional life, Jaime enjoys reading, traveling, antiquing, and staying active through running, biking, hiking, and tennis. She is married to her supportive husband, William, and cherishes spending time with her niece and nephews. Jaime also loves tending to her peony flower garden and relaxing on her front porch swing with a good book.
