Almondina is a licensed professional counselor in the states of Pennsylvania and Ohio. She brings nearly 20 years of experience to the training program with specialties in the following areas: Autism, grief and loss, and working with victims of violent crimes.
Prior to becoming a trainer, Almondina worked for Wesley Family Services for 7 years in the Family Based Mental Health Program as a therapist and as a clinical supervisor for 3 years. In addition to the internal trainings for staff and newly hired clinicians at WFS, Almondina brings experience as a trainer from her days as the Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator of Beaver County, where she was instrumental in providing trainings for nurses and law enforcement on evidence collection protocol as well as crisis response for victims.
