
Shayonne Burrell
Training and Implementation Coordinator
Shayonne D. Burrell (Shay) is a Training and Implementation Coordinator at the Youth and Family Training Institute, bringing 20 years of experience supporting youth and families through clinical practice and leadership. Shay earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from Widener University.
Shay has also supported the development of future social workers as a Practicum Instructor with Temple University’s School of Social Work. Driven by a deep commitment to growth and excellence, Shay has experience collaborating with community stakeholders to improve the quality of care and support available to families and youth.
Outside of her professional work, Shay is devoted to her family. She is married to her husband, Darren, and is the proud mother of their daughter, Sydney. She is an active member of the William Penn School District’s Family Advisory Council and a volunteer teacher in her church’s Children’s Ministry. In her free time, she enjoys reading psychological thrillers.
